Beautifully Imperfect

"...these small things that you remember.. imperfections that make them perfect for you.."

I was really touched the first time I heard this message. There are a lot of things that make us want to change and fix other people specially those we love. I admit that I have tried to fix a loved one just to satisfy the ideal but I have realized just a few days ago that rather than fixing them, I should have appreciate and love the whole package. As what Bo Sanchez shared with one of his stories: I love the Perfections of your Imperfections, "...you're perfect in your imperfections. I've accepted who you are--strengths and weaknesses." This somehow helped me in every way possible about relationships with other people.

2009 Top Philippine Companies

Are you curious to know who are among the top Philippine companies in 2009? The Wall Street Journal recently conducted a survey of top 200 companies in Asia.

Their project started in August 2008 when they compiled a lists of Asian companies traded on stock exchanges. A total of 2,622 executives and professionals participated in the survey.

Based on their research, here are some of their findings when it comes to the top companies here in the Philippines:

In OVERALL RANK, the country’s leading fast food chain Jollibee ranked first in position. Four (4) companies of the Ayalas also went into top 10 (Ayala Corp., Ayala Land, Bank of the Philippine Islands and Globe Telecom). The SM Group of companies headed by the country’s richest person Henry Sy have two (2) companies who joined the top 10 (Banco de Oro Universal Bank in 7th and SM Prime Holdings in 9th). San Miguel Corp., PLDT and Metrobank were also included bagging in the 4th, 8th and 10th positions.

When it comes to FINANCIAL REPUTATION, the top three largest Philippine banks namely Metrobank, Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI), and Banco de Oro (BDO) grabbed the top three ranks. Three (3) companies owned by Henry Sy managed to join the top 10 (BDO, SM Investments Corp., and SM Prime Holdings). Likewise, three companies by the Ayalas managed to join financially stable companies (BPI, Ayala Land, Ayala Corp.) San Miguel, PLDT and Jollibee also managed to join the circle.

worthless...

I AM PISSED OFF WITH GLOBE TELECOM!!

I am so pissed off with the service that I get from GLOBE TELECOM. I have been complaining them about the unauthorized charges on my mobile account (Premium tones, true tones) which I did not purchased. Why the hell will I purchase something like that if I'm using a very old model of nokia handset?! Specifically, 6610. The model itself does not support true tones and mp3 tones. It only supports polyphonic. I called several times to complain about it but I feel that I am not a valued subscriber of GLOBE TELECOM.

They charged me every month of Php 1000.00 and above whereas I really swear that I did not received any text regarding those damn true tones!!! It is very frustrating that I call every month to follow up on the reversal of these charges. I call every month to complain. I call every month to check on the charges. I even sacrificed to change my mobile number from +63917574....9 to +63917856....9. I reiterated several times to those call center agents that I spoke with that my phone cannot accomodate such formats of songs and whatever that tones maybe!!! I am so not happy with the services of GLOBE TELECOM anymore!! Even if i'm a subscriber for almost 4 or 5 years now, I should have been receiving the best customer care and services from the company. It is an unhealthy relationship with the big company and one of its clients. I've been paying my bills on time. I've been a good client with them. But this is really giving me inconvinience. I am not going to pay for those transactions. Although I can but I won't! One of the representative said to me that they won't be reversing the 1102.66 unauthorize charge on my December billing statement. The reason is because I've already paid for it! That's bull shit! I'm going to pay how much was indicated in the bill. The reason was one of the agents did not informed my of that transaction! It really pissed me off! since I've paid for it it won't be reversed? it's clearly an unauthorize charge!!! Why will I keep calling 211 to check the account and the number if I did that transaction?!! That's not a very goog excuse of not reversing that charge!! That's bull shit!!

I thought GLOBE TELECOM has the best services, products and customer experience. But I was wrong. They have the slowest investigating team. They have the worst customer experience ever!

of the emotional shield

I've learned one thing from a friend. Being alone keeps anyone from hurting me and keeps me from hurting others. He explained that it could be an emotional shield, an emotional preservation. He still stressed the fact that man is not an island. Man can never live without other people's help. Indeed, man needs others help to survive. This does not speak entirely of the emotional but of the physical and psychological aspects of a person.
Being alone is not living alone per se. It is how a person live his life without any emotional bond to an opposite sex and being able to interact and deal with other people harmoniously at the same time. In this way, one can protect himself from any emotional distress that usually occur within a relationship. Others may think of it as a selfish manner. Others may oppose to this. However, this emotional shield is one way to avoid any thought that may lead to self destruction.
